Joseph Walker, William Walker, Scott Maury and Alan Miller  recently attended the MAC-ASHI Meeting..  The guest speaker was Ed Iames, Plans Review & Licensing Supervisor from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission.  Mr Iams gasve a very informative presentation concerning the authority and responsibility of the WSSC for water, sewer, gas and cross-connections.

Joseph Walker, William Walker, Scott Maury and Alan Miller attended a continuing education seminar on Engineered Wood Products in Columbia, MD

Joseph Walker successfully completed the sunpower photovoltaic system training course.

Joseph  Walker, William Walker and Scott Maury recently attended the MAC-ASHI Tech Training Seminal 2007.  The main topics discussed were Residential Deck and Balcony Failures and IRC Framing requirements.

Joseph Walker, William Walker , and Scott Maury recently passed the (NHIE) National Home Inspector Examination. The Local Mac-ASHI Chapter rewards success by reimbursing members $100.00 for this accomplishment. Both Bill & Scott had their photos posted within the national home inspectors' magazine  ASHI Reporter.

William Walker and Scott Maury recently attended an ASHI seminar in Philadelphia, PA. The education included  successful completion of the FEMA PARR disaster inspectors' course. If elected, both Scott and William could assist in a FEMA declared disaster with emphasis on home structural conditions, safety evaluations, and possible declaration of  property loss.

We are sad to announce that Claxton Walker passed away on October 6 2006. He will be missed by many who knew & worked with him. Services were held both near St. Michael, Md and in Chevy Chase, Md.

3/18/06
William Walker & Scott Maury attended an all day Tech Training seminar sponsored by the local ASHI chapter "Mac-ASHI". The seminar was given by nationally renowned author, master electrician, master plumber, Rex Cauldwell. The emphasis of the seminar was "The Electrical Inspection". Both William and Scott were awarded  certificates of achievements.

Joseph Walker attended a conference hosted by the Community Association Institute (CAI) on "Disaster preparedness for the state of Maryland"

3/10/06 
All three company inspectors have passed the new National Home Inspectors exam. The exam is recognized by most states as the "threshold" for competence and licensing requirements.

Joseph Walker returned from New Orleans after serving for 21 days helping with the hurricane Katrina effort under the Army Corps of Engineers/ FEMA
