Joseph Walker has been
the President of Claxton
Walker & Associates since 1991, and an Inspector/Consultant
with the firm since
1985. Claxton
Walker and Associates has been providing Home Inspection
Services for more than 35 years and is the oldest company
of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic area. This company has performed more than 32,200 inspections in
its 35+ year history.
It was the Practical experience of Claxton Walker
and his associates that formed the basis upon which
Industry wide standards were eventually developed.
The Walker Family has been serving the Washington DC,
Maryland, and Virginia communities with construction and
Real Estate services since 1742.
Joseph Walker has performed over 10,300
full house inspections, and 1000's more specific problem
solving inspections. Houses and buildings inspected
include all ages, virtually all styles and some of
Washington's oldest and most prominent private residences
and historical houses in all parts of Maryland, Washington
DC and Virginia. He is a Certified Member of the American Society of
Home Inspectors (ASHI Member #1002), and is a Past
President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter (MAC-ASHI).
He possesses a broad range of knowledge in various trades
and all aspects of old and new construction. Joseph
Walker is a past president of Home Inspectors of Maryland,
Inc. Past clients include a former U.S. President,
presidential families, U.S. Representatives and Senators,
Foreign Ambassadors, County Executives, Judges, engineers, architects, custom
home builders, and most of the nation's largest home
builders.
