William Walker, ACI
William Walker is the president of Claxton Walker & Associates, LLC. He has been inspecting homes throughout the metropolitan DC area since 1998, and has inspected over 4,000 homes in that time. He is a licensed home inspector in Maryland and Virginia and an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI). Prior to becoming a home inspector, William spent 25 years in the residential construction industry in our area. He is the fifth generation of the Walker family to provide home building and real estate services to the local community. His areas of expertise include; estimating, design, costing and construction of new homes, as well as retrofit design and problem-solving as they relate to the remodeling industry. With over 40 years experience working with engineers, architects, contractors, homeowners, designers, home buyers, banks, and real estate agents, both as a builder and inspector, William draws on a depth of knowledge of building practices and their evolution and the DC area housing stock that few can match.
